Studio Update March 16, 2025

I've just returned from the American Color Print Society Spring Exhibition at the Abington Art Center in Jenkintown PA.  It's my first show with ACPS and my first time at the art center.  It was so nice to meet members of this society and to see the variety of styles of printmaking!

Here is a link to the Abington Art center and the exhibit:  https://abingtonartcenter.org/acps-members-spring/

A big thank you to the ACPS for choosing my print as one of the pieces on the advertisement for the show!  What a nice surprise!

The all important food!  What a nice spread!

Awards!

Studio Update March 10, 2025

 New drawings and print news.

I completed this charcoal drawing of a scene on the Olympic Peninsula.  This was a cliff near the Kalaloch beach where one of my other charcoal drawings was inspired.  The storms and erosion here are fierce, so much so that several cabins at Kalaloch are having to be demolished because they were too close to the cliff face.

In print news, I am participating in the American Color Print Society spring member show at Abington Art Center in Jenkintown, PA.  The opening reception is March 15, from 2 - 4 PM.  More information can be found here:  https://www.americancolorprintsociety.org/abington2025. My print "Remembering Charleston" will be on view at the exhibit.
