This woodcut print was a challenge, but I feel it's successful. The flowers were challenging to paint because the detail is very fine. I decided to keep with the traditional botanical illustration technique without a background. This is a large print, about 16 x 18 inches. This orchid is Phalaenopsis Fuller's Mask, "Smile".
